about me

I am based in London and have been working as an artist and designer-maker for several years. I mainly work in Ceramics and Photography but have lately become interested in making hand-made books. My main art educatioin has been at Central St Martins College of Art and City Lit, London.

My practice is motivated by strong feelings about the natural world and a pull towards the aesthetic.

My main areas of interest are those of landscape and natural phenomena, abstraction, potential beauty in the ordinary and memory.
My most recent body of work concerns an archive of my mother's early life in the 1930s, which includes her old brass microscope, laboratory slides, original scientific papers, letters, photographs and drawings. This series is the one named 'Under the Microscope.' This is to be shown at the Guildhall Library, Aldermanbury, EC2V 7HH from 19th March to 16th May 2018.
